Rocking the stages since 2006, a year after he discovered the Drum&Bass sounds, this portuguese DJ and Producer has come a long way since he started djing in his town of Viana do Castelo, now being one of the most relevant drum&bass artist in the portuguese Drum&Bass scene. His dedication to the craft of djing and producing Drum&Bass has soon lead him to a broad recognition of the portuguese scene and in 2007 he was announced as an 'Up & Coming Talent DJ' by the Cows On Patrol Awards, the only website/forum dedicated to the Drum&Bass side of music, and since then he has been playing all around the portuguese clubs and festivals. Production wise, his first releases take place in 2014 with his debut EP 'Fractions' on BNC Express, and later on, on the iconic Flex Recordings, which also quickly lead him to be nominated for the category of 'Best Producer' and 'Best Drum&Bass Track' on the Cows On Patrol Awards 2014. Fat Cap also got involved in a couple of official production competitions, and actually was the 1st place winner of the South Rakkas Crew (Dim Mak) contest with his remix of 'Winding Rave', and also was the 2nd place winner for the DJ Fresh Remix Competition with his amazing remix of the original track 'Louder feat. Sian Evans'. Since then he as been mastering the craft of drum&bass production and releasing music, with a couple of well known remixes as 'Wall Of Love' by Karetus & Diogo Piçarra, 'Amor Rubia' by Holly & Harold from GROGnation, 'Abana A Cabeça' by M.G.D.R.V., and Macacos Do Chines 'Selva' amongst others. One of the first highlights of his carrer is his release on Counterpoint Recordings with the track 'Make Me Feel' which was premiered on Noisia Radio.
