Known for his bass-heavy sounds, AC Slater got the crowd moving and grooving. While Bijou had the audience bobbing their heads to his deep house grooves, Praiz brought his own fusion of African rhythms and electronic sounds to the stage.
The Hawaiian producer Mr. Carmack dazzled the audience with his unique brand of avant-garde beats. Truth provided thunderous dubstep beats that shook the ground, while SpectraSoul contributed their distinctive liquid drum and bass sound.
The crowd was singing along to Flava D's songs, the UK's queen of the garage and bassline, while Esseks' hallucinogenic and experimental soundscapes put everyone in a trance. The Miami-based turntablist Craze performed on the decks and showed off his skills, while Ahee's glitch-hop tracks got the crowd moving.
The 2023 edition of the Bamboo Bass Festival was no different from previous ones, which routinely brought in some of the biggest stars in electronic music. Any fan of electronic music must go to the festival because of its distinctive setting and varied roster.
