The legendary metal music festival Bucovina Rock Castle, which took place in Romania, assembled a headlining lineup that astounded audiences. The Welsh band Skindred, which combines reggae, punk, and metal, put on an exhilarating show that had the audience dancing and singing along. Jinjer, a Ukrainian metalcore band, also made an impact with their strong vocals and intricate instrumentation.
TesseracT, a progressive metal band from the UK, and Leprous, a Norwegian group that fuses progressive rock and avant-garde elements into their music, were two other standout performers. Crowbar, an American sludge metal band, performed on stage with their very heavy sound, while Dutch rock band De Staat dazzled with their distinct fusion of alternative and experimental music.
The remarkable lineup was completed by the Irish black metal band Primordial, Moldovan alternative rock band Alternosfera, Romanian rock band Robin and the Backstabbers, and Greek stoner rock band 1000mods. Fans spent the whole weekend headbanging and moshing as the festival featured a wide variety of metal styles.
