Electronic music performers from all over the world can display their talent at the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF). Some of the biggest stars in the electronic music scene have performed at the festival. ARTBAT, Shane Eagle, Da Capo, DJ Lag, The Hacker, The Egyptian Lover, Enoo Napa, Kususa, Gerd Janson, and Dwson were among the featured performers at the festival's 2023 iteration.
The Ukrainian duo ARTBAT captivated the crowd with their distinctive techno sound. With his lyrical performances, South African hip hop artist Shane Eagle gave the festival a unique character. DJ Lag, dubbed the "king of Gqom," got the crowd moving to his beats, while South African DJ Da Capo brought his distinctive deep house sound to the festival. The Egyptian Lover, an American DJ and producer, presented his retro electro sound to the festival, and The Hacker, a French producer of electronic music, displayed his distinctive brand of electro and techno music.
The South African DJ and producer Enoo Napa dazzled the audience with his Afro-house sound, and the South African pair Kususa displayed their distinctive fusion of Afro-tech and tribal house music. The festival featured the distinctive disco and house sound of German DJ and producer Gerd Janson, as well as the deep house and electronic sound of South African DJ and producer Dwson.
The CTEMF 2023 edition was a huge success all around, with the headlining bands giving the festival their all and leaving the audience clamoring for more. The event is still a venue for electronic music performers to display their skills and interact with their followers.
