The renowned Austrian metal event Doom over Vienna once again attracted some of the most gifted and ardent musicians in the genre. The festival was a celebration of all things heavy and dark, with a lineup of renowned performers including Darkher, Pagan Altar, Clouds, Alunah, Spiritus Mortis, Officium Triste, Liquid Earth, Castle, Apostle Of Solitude, and Iron Void.
Pagan Altar's traditional heavy metal sound brought back memories of the genre's golden age, while Darkher's mesmerizing melodies and potent vocals captivated the audience. Alunah's powerful yet catchy riffs, Clouds' distinctive fusion of doom and post-metal, and Spiritus Mortis' raw and furious performance were also seen by the audience. The excellent lineup was completed by the gloomy soundscapes of Officium Triste, the psychedelic doom of Liquid Earth, the stoner metal of Castle, the melodic doom of Apostle Of Solitude, and the conventional doom of Iron Void.
