The most recent iteration of event Magia, an annual Latin music event hosted in the Netherlands, had a stellar roster of prominent musicians. Artists including Marcos Valle, Yin Yin, Hailu Mergia, Ahmed Fakroun, Mim Suleiman, Wally Badarou, Dj Okapi, Rita Maia, Pushin Wood, and Margie performed at the festival, which took place in the summer of 2023.
Every performer brought their own distinctive style to the festival, highlighting the wide variety of Latin music. Legendary Brazilian performer Marcos Valle brought his mellow bossa nova style to the stage, and the Dutch band Yin Yin filled their music with psychedelic and funk influences. A vocalist from Suriname named Margie and the Dutch band Pushin Wood both contributed to Festival Magia's diverse musical landscape.
