For fans of electronic music, Festival Millésime from France has always been a must-attend event, and the most recent iteration in 2023 played up to its reputation. Some of the biggest names in the business, such as Creeds, Nico Moreno, Promo, Ace Ventura, Act of Rage, AniMe, DJ Mad Dog, Remzcore, Somniac One, and LE WANSKI, attended the festival. Each of these performers brought their own distinctive energy and style to the stage, captivating the audience.
The festival's mood was created by Creeds, a French DJ and producer, with his energizing sounds and memorable tunes. Another French electronic music musician, Nico Moreno, dazzled the crowd with his distinctive style of blending techno, trance, and house. Promo, a Dutch producer of hardcore techno who was a crowd favorite, gave a frantic performance that had everyone on their feet.
The Israeli psytrance icon Ace Ventura elevated the festival with his disorienting beats and seductive textures. The Dutch hardstyle producer Act of Rage provided his distinctive music, which fuses intense intensity with catchy hooks. The Italian hardcore producer AniMe gave a strong performance that displayed her individual flair and aggressive intensity.
The festival crowd was astounded by the high-intensity sound that DJ Mad Dog, an Italian hardcore producer, delivered to the event. The French hardcore producer Remzcore demonstrated his skill in fusing several genres, including gabber and hardcore. The audience was deeply affected by the dark, dramatic music that Somniac One, a Belgian hardcore producer, brought with her. The festival was concluded by French techno producer LE WANSKI, whose hypnotic set left the audience begging for more.
Due in large part to the broad and talented cast of performers who brought their individual approaches to the stage, Festival Millésime 2023 was a big success. We are excited to see what the next edition of the event has in store because the festival once again demonstrated that electronic music is thriving in France.
