The largest hip hop music festival in Belgium, Genk On Stage, recently had an amazing lineup of headlining artists. Among them was the renowned funk group Earth, Wind & Fire, whose electric performance got the audience moving to their timeless hits. The festival also featured artists like Laylow, who performed on stage with his distinct fusion of French rap and trap music, and Lil Kleine, a Dutch rapper who got the crowd singing along to his infectious songs.
Famous producers like $hirak, who is well known for his partnerships with some of the greatest names in the business, and IBE, a rising star in the Belgian hip hop scene, were also on the festival's lineup. Sevn Alias, Josylvio, and Ashafar also gave spirited performances for the crowd, bringing their unique rap musical styles to the festival.
The famous Grandmaster Flash, whose outstanding turntable abilities took the audience on a voyage through the history of hip hop, and the Dutch rock band Kensington, whose alternative sound gave the event a distinct feel, completed the lineup. The 2023 Genk On Stage edition more than lived up to its reputation for showcasing the best in hip hop music and left the crowd yearning for more.
