The annual HRH Metal festival honors everything heavy metal. It takes place in the United Kingdom. The most recent iteration, which took place in 2023, featured many of the biggest names in the metal world. Lord of the Lost, Alestorm, Rhapsody Of Fire, Psychostick, Decapitated, Equilibrium, Monuments, Elvenking, Grave Digger, and Lost Society were a few of the major headliners.
The German band Lord of the Lost, renowned for their distinct fusion of gothic rock and metal, gave an exciting performance that astounded the audience. While the Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody Of Fire displayed their technical prowess and expansive soundscapes, the Scottish folk metal band Alestorm brought their own pirate-themed spirit to the stage.
The American comedic metal band Psychostick had the audience headbanging and laughing at the same time, and the Polish death metal band Decapitated gave a harsh and intense performance. While British progressive metal band Monuments displayed their elaborate and complex compositions, German folk metal band Equilibrium offered their lyrical and ambient sound to the festival.
Grave Digger, a German heavy metal band, put on a traditional and nostalgic performance, while the Italian folk metal band Elvenking had the crowd chanting along to their infectious melodies. The festival was finally wrapped up by the Finnish thrash metal band Lost Society, whose high-octane performance left everyone wanting more. The festival as a whole was a celebration of the variety and ferocity of the metal subgenre, and the headlining acts did not dissapoint.
