A wide range of brilliant musicians performed at the Jewish Music Week in Toronto, captivating audiences with their passionate performances. Legendary saxophonist Stan Getz, Grammy-winning band The Manhattan Transfer, and Israeli band Yemen Blues were some of the main headliners. All those who listened were moved by the jazz and klezmer tunes that filled the air.
Brigham Phillips, The Barry Sisters, Daniel Kahn & The Painted Bird, Lenka Lichtenberg, Micah Barnes, Yossi Fine & Ben Aylon, and Michael Occhipinti were some of the other outstanding performers. The event featured the range and depth of Jewish music from throughout the world as each musician offered their distinctive sound and flair.
