Some of the best artists who have headlined the Norwegian festival Karmøygeddon Metal Festival in the past include Skid Row, Kreator, Cradle Of Filth, Jinjer, Eluveitie, Dimmu Borgir, Kamelot, Pain, Soilwork, and Amorphis. Metal fans will never forget the festival because each musician brought their distinct sound and enthusiasm to the stage.
The American heavy metal band Skid Row blasted the crowd with anthems including "18 and Life" and "Youth Gone Wild." Kreator, a German thrash metal band, enthralled the audience with their tremendous energy and stirring lyrics. Cradle Of Filth, a British extreme metal band, captivated the crowd with their ominous and Gothic music.
While Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie included traditional folk instruments like the hurdy-gurdy and bagpipes into their sound, Ukrainian metal band Jinjer brought their distinctive fusion of progressive metal and hardcore to the stage. The festival included the haunting sound and spectacular stage presence of Norwegian black metal legends Dimmu Borgir.
Among the biggest acts of the Karmøygeddon Metal Festival were the American power metal band Kamelot, the Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork, and the Finnish progressive metal group Amorphis.
