Over the years, the UK's Killin Music Festival has featured some outstanding talent. Siobhan Miller, Elephant Sessions, Niteworks, Trail West, Peatbog Faeries, Blazin' Fiddles, Aly Bain, Phil Cunningham, Kinnaris Quintet, and Mec Lir were some of the standout performances.
Elephant Sessions' distinctive fusion of traditional and contemporary music got everyone on their feet as Siobhan Miller's captivating voice enthralled the crowd. Trail West got the crowd stamping their feet to their energetic tracks, while Niteworks presented their electric sounds.
The Peatbog Faeries' successful combination of Celtic and electronic music was well received, and the enthusiastic rendition of Blazin' Fiddles got the audience jumping. The traditional Scottish music performed by Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham was stunning, while the Kinnaris Quintet's avant-garde sound made an impact. Mec Lir left the crowd wanting more with their own special interpretation of Irish and Scottish music.
