One of the most eagerly awaited electronic music festivals in the country, Lucky Festival's 2023 edition did not dissapoint. Galantis, Timmy Trumpet, SLANDER, Will Sparks, Flux Pavilion, Jauz, 3LAU, Ben Nicky, Two Friends, and Morgan Page were among the festival's many notable headliners.
Galantis, a Swedish band made up of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklow, put on a riveting performance that had the audience clapping along to songs like "No Money," "Runaway (U & I)," and "Peanut Butter Jelly." The Australian DJ and producer Will Sparks also got the crowd moving to his brand of Melbourne Bounce music, including the songs "Ah Yeah So What" and "Flakka Flakka."
Other standout performances came from 3LAU's flawless fusion of EDM and pop, SLANDER's passionate and melodic set, and Jauz's high-energy and bass-heavy tracks. While Two Friends and Morgan Page offered a touch of house and progressive sounds to the festival, Ben Nicky brought his hard-hitting trance vibe. Lucky Festival 2023, in its entirety, was a magnificent display of the best that electronic music has to offer.
