Maailma kylässä | World Village Festival, one of Finland's most eagerly awaited Latin music festivals, featuring a stellar line-up of world-class musicians. Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, presented his distinctive fusion of traditional African rhythms and contemporary sounds to the stage. Liniker e os Caramelows, a Brazilian band renowned for their lyrical and energizing performances, were also among the festival's top headliners.
Another notable artist was the Finnish pop phenomenon SANNI, who captivated the audience with her catchy songs and strong voice. Turkish singer-songwriter Gaye Su Akyol performed at the festival with her captivating fusion of psychedelic rock and Anatolian folk music, and South African band Freshlyground had the crowd moving to their contagious Afro-pop sounds.
Among the other notable performers were the Palestinian group 47SOUL, which is renowned for fusing electronic sounds with traditional Arabic music, Iranian kamancheh player Kayhan Kalhor, German electronic duo Shkoon, Indian composer Ricky Kej, and Ivorian singer Dobet Gnahore.
