An annual electronic music event called Pula Music Week takes place in the Croatian city of Pula. Some of the biggest stars in the field of electronic music have attended the event over the years, and the 2023 edition was no exception. Disclosure, Charlotte de Witte, Boris Brejcha, Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Solomun, Enrico Sangiuliano, Tale Of Us, TSHA, and Overmono were some of the festival's main headliners.
The English electronic music duo Disclosure entered the stage and wowed the audience with an exhilarating performance. The Belgian DJ Charlotte de Witte, who is well-known for her techno and acid sounds, also brought her A-game to the festival and played a fascinating and enthralling set. The German techno producer Boris Brejcha, whose set was intense and full of energy, was also a crowd favorite.
Another standout of the festival was Black Coffee, a South African DJ and producer known for his soulful voice and silky house sounds. The Korean DJ and style icon Peggy Gou also dazzled the audience with her diverse blend of house, techno, and disco. The German-Bosnian DJ and producer Solomun played a set that was full of his distinctive deep house and techno sounds while yet being melodic and moving.
The Italian techno producer Enrico Sangiuliano brought his own sound to the festival with a set consisting of heavy, driving sounds. The Italian DJ duo Tale Of Us made a strong impression with their atmospheric and lyrical techno soundscapes. Another festival highlight was TSHA, a British DJ and producer who played an unusual blend of house, techno, and UK garage. Last but not least, the British electronic music duo Overmono performed an inventive and upbeat show that featured their distinctive fusion of techno, IDM, and breakbeat.
With some of the biggest names in the electronic music industry giving performances that left the audience in amazement, Pula Music Week 2023 was an overall genuinely amazing experience.
