Native American hip hop artist Supaman performed at the festival with a high level of vigor and conveyed important ideas. A hip hop duo called Snotty Nose Rez Kids from the Haisla Nation in British Columbia performed their own fusion of trap sounds and rhymes with Indigenous themes. Anishinaabe singer-songwriter Shawnee Kish captivated the audience with her dynamic singing and heartfelt lyrics.
The Alberta-based traditional drumming group Northern Cree proudly displayed their cultural heritage through their ferocious drumming and singing. Soulful singer-songwriter Julian Taylor graced the stage with his remarkable vocal range and moving lyrics. Mint Field, a Mexican band with shoegaze influences from Tijuana, displayed their ethereal sound and captivating stage presence. Mohawk singer-songwriter Logan Staats enthralled the crowd with his passionate voice and poignant words.
