Annually held in the beautiful Romanian mountains, the Transylvaliens Festival has established itself as a mainstay of the electronic music scene. In its most recent iteration, top performers included Tropical Bleyage, whose psychedelic trance enthralled everyone, and Mihai Popoviciu, whose explosive house beats got the crowd moving. Shivatree was a performer at the festival who combined uplifting and dark trance, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Other memorable artists included Djantrix, whose hard-hitting psytrance had the crowd hopping, and E-Mantra, whose ambient and downtempo sounds gave a welcome break from the high-energy pounding. On stage, Asura performed a distinctive fusion of ambient and world music, and Etnica's famed Goa trance set instantly took everyone to another realm.
The crowd was in a trance-like state thanks to Spirit Architect's intense psytrance, and Sonic Entity's hammering progressive beats kept the intensity up. Finally, Middle Mode's combination of psytrance and techno brought the festival to a successful conclusion.
Overall, the program for this year's Transylvaliens Festival did not dissapoint as it continued to welcome some of the top electronic music performers from across the world to Romania.
