Some of the hottest pop musicians in the country performed at the annual Treefort Music Fest in Boise, Idaho. MEN I TRUST, Monica, The Marias, Surf Curse, Vince Staples, JPEGMAFIA, Current Joys, Mt. Joy, Vundabar, and Toro Y Moi were among the festival's finest acts.
The R&B singer-songwriter Monica left the crowd wanting more after her spectacular performance. On the other hand, MEN I TRUST mesmerized the audience with their ethereal indie-pop soundscapes. The Marias contributed their special brand of jazz and psychedelic soul, and Surf Curse's distinctive lo-fi garage rock sound had everyone up and moving.
Hip-hop musicians JPEGMAFIA and Vince Staples brought it with intense sets that had the crowd pumped. Many people were moved by the melancholy yet uplifting indie rock of Current Joys, and everyone was singing along to the joyful folk-rock of Mt. Joy.
Toro Y Moi's electronic chillwave vibes and Vundabar's post-punk sound completed the festival's varied program. Pop music fans had a great time at Treefort Music Fest overall, and we're excited to see what the event has in store for us next year.
