The Croatian Velvet Festival's 2023 edition featured a stellar roster of electronic performers. Fans from all around the world traveled to the event to take in the stunning environment and dance to the upbeat music. Hector Gachan, Buc Kesidi, Herzog, Soichi Terada, Nipplepeople, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Bikini, PVA, The Mauskovic Dance Band, and Vanishing Twin were some of the best performers.
Hector Gachan brought his distinct brand of techno and house to the stage and got everyone up and dancing. The indie electronic band Buc Kesidi performed their own kind of music, which fuses hazy melodies with pulsating beats. Herzog's performance was a festival high point, his ominous and brooding techno sending chills up and down the crowd.
Soichi Terada's vintage house and techno sounds transported us to the dawn of electronic music, adding a touch of nostalgia to the festival. The energetic Nipplepeople performance had the audience dancing to their infectious electro-pop. The ethereal synth-pop of Jaakko Eino Kalevi provided the ideal background music for the Adriatic Sea sunset.
Bikini brought their contagious electro-funk to the stage, keeping the crowd moving with their funky basslines and bouncy beats. PVA's electronic music with post-punk influences was a distinctive and engrossing addition to the roster. The Mauskovic Dance Band's psychedelic cumbia, with its tropical rhythms and surreal images, sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Vanishing Twin brought the festival to a close with their experimental electronic music that transported us over time and space. The Velvet Festival's 2023 edition was a great success all around, showcasing the best in electronic music and uniting fans from all over the world.
