The best Latin Canadian musicians were on display during the Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival. Panteon Rococo, Ky-Mani Marley, Maxi Priest, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Less Than Jake, Freddie McGregor, Culture, Sister Nancy, Brother Ali, and Macka B were just a few of the festival's main acts.
Panteon Rococo's energetic performance energized the crowd, and Ky-Mani Marley offered the festival his distinctive brand of reggae music. The crowd was dancing and singing along to The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' punk rock sound and Maxi Priest's deep voice. Brother Ali's socially conscious lyrics and Less Than Jake's ska punk music, meanwhile, inspired and engaged the crowd.
The Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival, which brought together some of Canada's top Latin singers, was an unforgettable occasion. Everyone who attended the festival, which was a celebration of music, culture, and community, was profoundly affected.
